1. Fitbit is Good For Your Health
Without good health, we don't have much. Fitbit will help you improve your health by encouraging you to move, keep track of those movements and move more often. According to the Mayo Clinic article Walking: Trim your waistline, improve your health, not only can walking help you manage and prevent various conditions like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, walking helps strengthen bones, improves your balance and coordination and even helps to lift your mood.

5. Fitbit is Geeky yet Stylish
There are different colors and styles depending on what model you get. Mine is black and it looks good. I also ordered a roadside id tag from a different company to clip on the strap to help identify me should I get into an accident when bicycling. It provides emergency contact and on- demand medical information to first responders.
6. Fitbit is Social
It's easy and fast to connect with your Fitbit friends to share data and compete against one another on the leader board. When I first added my friends I noticed I ranked in last place. That inspired me to work harder walk more.
7. Fitbit is Cofortable
I wear the Fitbit Charge HR on my wrist most of the time. Occasionally I just switch wrists and take it off once in a while and for charging. And as for charging, it doesn't take that long to charge, less than 2 hours. Although the connection is proprietary so don't lose the charging cable because none of your other devices cables will work with it.
8. Fitbit is Water Resistant
All Fitbit trackers are water-resistant, which means they are rain-proof and splash-proof and can stand up to even the sweatiest workout. You shouldn't swim with it on and they don't recommend showering with your tracker; though the water won't hurt the device, wearing it 24/7 does not give your skin a chance to breathe.
9. Fitbit is Affordable
Fitbit pricing seems to be held the same from retailer to retailer. Although I purchased mine at Target, because I was there and didn't want to wait one more minute, I typically prefer to buy from Amazon because their service is so outstanding as is their ease of returns. I like free shipping and more importantly love free 2nd Day Air shipping as a member of Amazon Prime. The screenshot shows pricing at various stores from a sponsored ad which popped up on a google search. There are different models and price ranges to choose from. Current Amazon pricing listed below.
10. Fitbit is Fun!
It's pretty cool to be able to track your stats so easily. You can challenge yourself and your friends to do more. Fitbits are themselves pretty straight forward and easy to operate. The app and the website are visually pleasing to look at and enter data. It's fun to see how much you've accomplished which encourages you to do more.
