Fun Valentine's Day Idea Newark Delaware and Elkton, MD

What to do for Valentin's Day this year for your special someone? Give Valentine's Day Chocolates or Valentine's Day Roses? A Valentine's Day card? Of course as everyone knows, they are the standard go-to Valentine's Day gifts. But if you are looking for a unique, fun, romantic and memorable Valentine's Day idea, then take your special someone or even your mom to The Sugarhouse at Elkton Forge for the last showing of Blind Love .

My wife and I were fortunate to catch Blind Love while it was being performed at Center for Creative Arts in Yorkland, DE last Saturday night. The lead role of Ian is played by a coworker of mine, Leslie Blackburn, (LT), who we wanted to support. We had no idea if it was going to be good or not, what the play would be like, but to our surprise the entire evening was fabulous.

The venue and dinner was quite good. The staff was friendly, the food delish and we were greeted with warm piano music. This coming weekend's event which will be performed in The Sugarhouse at Elkton Forge with a 6-course meal, dancing and the play will prove to be spectacular. Blind Love was endearing, funny and a pure delight. The acting was far better than we anticipated and the show was captivating.

‘Love comes and goes as the hustle and bustle of life gets in the way and Ian finds himself still single and surrounded by his overprotective mother. Independent, professional, intelligent and oh yeah, blind; Ian is at constant bombardment from a prying mother who means well but manages to stick her nose into every aspect of his life.

Watch what happens when his ears pick up the familiar voice of a lost love and his mother sees opportunity to meddle and bring two very self sufficient and single people together if its the last thing she does.’

If you're in the area of Newark, DE or Elkton, MD and looking for a unique, romantic activity just in time for Valentine’s day, have fun and enjoy this show with a partner, friend or a group. We’re glad we did!
