Almost Sunrise follows two Iraq veterans, Tom Voss and Anthony Anderson, both tormented by depression for years after they returned home and pushed to the edge of suicide.

The two embark on an extraordinary journey – a 2,700 mile walk across the country from Wisconsin to California, in order to reflect on their haunting experiences of war and to ultimately, save themselves

Almost Paradise Film Screening Wilmington Delaware

It will be featured at the Charter School of Wilmington auditorium on Friday evening, March 24, at 6 pm. Tickets/Donation for $5 per person.

All proceeds will benefit Delaware veterans. This event is hosted by Help The Veterans- Delaware Community Foundation, 22in22, Stop Soldier Suicide, and Project Welcome Home Troops.

Lyft for vets Almost Sunrise promo

lYFT FOR VETS offers scheduled Lyft rides with preferred drivers. When you need a scheduled Lyft ride you can choose Lyft or Lyft for Vets. Lyft for Vets is the same thing as a regular Lyft ride with the difference being Ride Sharing World will make a $5.00 donation to Help The Veterans Fund for anyone who books a "Lyft for Vets" ride at and completes the ride by March 24th to tie in with the Charter School of Wilmington's screening of Almost Sunrise.
